 QUIET PARTIES
The Quiet Party (TM) is a social event where people communicate by writing notes instead of speaking.  Invented in New York City by Reb Han (Paul RebHan) and Tony Noe in 2002, this new form of  social interaction quickly became popular around the world.

With Quiet Parties, traditional patterns of social gatherings (conversation, music, etc) are interrupted, leaving participants to re-learn how to socialize in an unexpected environment

Quiet Parties began as an experiment in social interaction and noise awareness.  Over time, they also became popular with singles and developed into the phenomenon of "silent dating."
