O.R.B.
PAINTINGS Each ORB painting consists of nine elements, and follows a particular set of rules. These paintings are inspired by Japanese aesthetics and Rorschach tests. Simplicity, nuance, suggestion, tranquility, balance and negative space are important aspects of ORB paintings. O.R.B. is an acronym for Organic Reductionist Bodies. The ORB painting entitled "Necking'" was smuggled into the Museum of Modern Art. ORB paintings have been created in oils and acrylics on canvas and paper. "reminiscent of a Japanese rock garden or a haiku poem, both of which rely on restraint and space, as much as content." ARTWORLD |
